Emily Gordis

Capacity Building Specialist

Emily Gordis joins Capacity for Health as a Capacity Building Specialist. Previously, Emily worked as a case manager for long-term survivors of HIV in San Francisco, and provided housing advocacy to unhoused individuals in an Oakland primary care clinic. She has also trained as an HIV testing counselor at the Berkeley Free Clinic and volunteered in support of low-income Oakland tenants at Causa Justa Just Cause. Currently, she volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a foster youth in San Francisco. Emily is deeply passionate about health equity and housing justice and is excited to bring her experience in direct service to Capacity for Health.
